This is one of my all time favorite worship songs from Vineyard UK.
My friend Sarah talked about walking down the aisle to this song -- the bridesmaids will come down as the song is starting and then when it picks up at 2:43 the doors will open and there she'll be! But since she didn't do it, I might still her idea! I would have to fly my friend Marcus in to play guitar and sing it, of course (listen to "Hit Me" if you link to his space). And Tirzah can play the djembe.
Ok, true, I'm not planning my wedding yet (or even a date, for that matter), but I just wanted to call dibs on the song and the musicians! HA!

Cool, thanks. I should start practicing. :D
Don't you mean blest on the djembe?
Maybe they could do a funky duo on percussion?!
What do I get to do? Can I be a bridesmaid ?! ;-)
Sure ya can be a bridesmaid!
Blest AND Tirzah BOTH with a djembe? Oh dear, I fear what may happen . . . both are probably lethal with the percussion . . . hmm, if Blest insists I could put Tirzah on vocals.
I almost feel like I'm forming a band. Which is actually probably more likely at the moment than me getting married! HA!
*sobs* always a drummer, never a guitarist!! *sighs*
(hey, debs, that's cool. i didn't know you played the djembe. :D)
oops, i mean blest. sorry - i need to visit england one of these years so i won't get people mixed up! :">
hey, debs, i hope you're feeling better after your hospital visit!
Aw, pobrecita, Tirzita!
Dude, you can have your pick of instruments to play at my wedding -- guitar, piano, djembe, harmonica, accordion! Maybe we can build u one of those contraptions that allows you to play all at the same time. But then that may take attention away from me. Nevertheless, we have plenty of time to work that out!
Oh, and we certainly can't leave Eva out. Maybe she could be on piano . . . I tell ya, I might as well start a band!
Duuude...a one-chick band at a wedding would definitely be a sight. Your pick. :) In the meantime, I'm happy singing in my choir at church.
