I saw a very beautiful sunset driving home this evening also. It was a very nice juxtaposition of Irving's business-as-usual with God's extremely cool handiwork... if I had had a camera with me, I wouldn't have hesitated to pull over to capture it. (There was a plane flying against a smattering of clouds and pink horizon, and further down the road, you could see the moon coming up above the local mosque.)
The state of Texas believes I'm qualified to educate the future generation. I've started with preschoolers -- they're young enough to not remember any damage I may inflict whilst learning how to be an effective teacher. Besides that, I'm trying my best to follow Jesus as He leads me through unforeseen paths, but it's hard sometimes. Especially since we live in a world that thinks I'm an unambitious mad-woman whose wasting my life. But I know God has called me, and I know He is preparing me. For what, I don't completely know; but I trust Him.
